How many times have you heard that God is moving on churches behalf? There is a revival coming to our city. Is. 42:16 KJV16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

God is doing a new thing right now. Hes calling his people once again to forsake every idol and make their habitation the Rock, Jesus Christ. I urge you to be ready to obey his cry! 

I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. Through him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. This confirms that what I told you about Christ is true. Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

God wants to do greater things with each succeeding generation. And each generation must seek the Lord for its own experience of the Holy Spirit and its own power from him.

God wants to perform His miracles and provide more of His spirit for his people beyond anything seen in the past. He longs to increase and enlarge our faith-so that, like Elisha, we ask God for a double portion of his Spirit. Are you ready to receive a double portion?

I want to talk to you about a man who fell short . His name was Jacob. The man who didnt measure up to the family . Jacob was slick. He was greasy as a bucket of Churches Chicken. Yet God calls greasy people. He didnt get there by himself.

Maybe you didnt measure up to your family. Maybe you lack the faith needed to believe God can use you. God says, you are in my plans and I have a purpose for your life.
